Pods in Print
Your Right to Cancel
You are about to purchase a subscription to download transcripts of podcasts from the Pods in Print website.
In accordance with the UK Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000, you have the statutory right to cancel your subscription if you so decide. We are required by law to provide you with the following information in this regard:
- We are Pods in Print Limited (a company registered in England and Wales no. 5841678) of 36 Wattleton Road, Beaconsfield, Bucks., HP9 1SE, United Kingdom. This is the geographical address to which you may address any complaints about our service.
- The service you are ordering is a subscription to enable you to download written transcripts of podcasts (being digital spoken word audio files made available by our licensors for downloading over the internet).
- The price of the service may be found at http://www.podsinprint.com/prices.asp.
- There are no delivery costs. The transcripts are downloadable via the internet.
- Payment must be made in advance via our authorised payment provider. Once payment has been made, you are able to start downloading transcripts immediately, for as long as your subscription lasts.
- You have the statutory right to cancel your subscription at any time before the expiry of the period of seven working days beginning with the day after you subscribed. However, unless we and you agree otherwise, you cannot cancel your subscription in this way after you have downloaded your first transcript, as performance of the contract will then have begun with your agreement, that being an exception to the statutory right to cancel for a service such as this.
- Once you have downloaded your first transcript as a subscriber you may only cancel the subscription in the manners described in the Subscriber Terms. Please take advantage of our free trial membership to familiarise yourself with our service prior to purchase.
- There is no additional cost to accessing our website beyond whatever you pay for your internet access.
- Our subscription prices remain valid until further notice. We may however change them or introduce special offer prices at any time.
- Our service should not normally become unavailable, but in the event of the website being offline for a significant period of time we may, at our discretion, extend existing subscription periods to compensate.
- You can exercise your statutory right to cancel by emailing us at . You should use the same email address as currently held by us in connection with the account. The cancellation will be effective so long as you have not yet downloaded any transcripts when we receive it. We will then cancel your subscription, our payment provider will refund your payment in full, and we will notify you that the cancellation is effective.
